Our mission and vision

The Platform Wooncoöperaties Amsterdam region is a partnership of housing cooperatives that want to realize affordable housing in the metropolitan region for and by their members. The affiliated housing cooperatives have no profit motive and work together to realize sustainable, affordable housing in various forms (care, young people, multi-generation, collective). Within the platform, the housing cooperatives share knowledge and strive for further professionalization of the sector. The platform represents the interests of housing cooperatives and is committed to promoting housing cooperatives in the public debate by showing what value the affiliated members add to the housing market.
